inCase Receives Six Figure Investment From Barclays

The substantial recent financial backing from Barclays means that inCase can look to increase their development and sales and marketing teams over the coming months, and consequently bring their growth ambitions forward significantly.

Sucheet Amin, CEO at inCase stated:

‘Obtaining this substantial investment from Barclays is fantastic. They completely understand our product and are just as excited as we are about the opportunity we have to help improve the client experience for law firms. Additionally, to be working with them generally is going to be a great benefit to our business, through their contacts, experience and general business support that they are willing to offer.

‘The investment brings our ambitions forward and paves the way for even further development of our award-winning platform, whilst opening up new markets, including international clients.’

Jim Tattersall , Relationship Manager in the High Growth & Entrepreneurs Team at Barclays commented:

‘InCase is a well-run, growing business and is now ideally positioned to continue on its growth track over the coming months and years. The close relationship with the management team helps us to understand the key drivers for the business which, in turn, has enabled us to deliver a funding solution that fully satisfies our client’s ongoing requirements.’

This funding further supports inCase’s growth plans in the coming months and will be used to increase their workforce even further.

Over the past five months, the inCase team has gone from strength to strength.

Firstly, inCase recruited Rob Hosier as their Sales and Marketing Director, Rob has a vast amount of experience in the legal sector and has also helped developed some of the most successful legal practices and associated technological systems in the industry.

Secondly, Andrew Kirkham joined the Senior Management Team as the company’s Chief Technical Officer.

Andrew is one of the most successful technology leaders in the UK, taking ao.com from near start-up to publicly floated company.

Lastly, Steven Goulding was promoted to Client Services Director finalising the senior team.

Steven has been the driving force behind the great experience lawyers and clients receive from the communication platform.

Even before this investment, the company had started focusing heavily in their future plans, with a new bespoke office premise weeks away from completion, a doubling of the inCase workforce and new law firms joining the incase family at a rate never experienced before.
