InCase Insight: Steven Goulding

Steven, affectionately known as Ste, is the longest serving member of our team. Having joined inCase in our infancy over three years ago, Ste has grown with the company and has been a major influence in our success ever since. Having joined inCase as Relationship Manager, Ste achieved Directorship in March 2018 and has not looked back since in his new role as Client Service Director. In his current role, Ste is the main contact for all of our lovely clients, many of whom he considers his friends. Ste believes in delivering fantastic customer service and his favourite thing about his job is developing and maintaining great relationships with both new and existing clients. Ste is also a long-suffering Evertonian, and when he gets some rare time away from work loves to spend time with his wife Sarah and 3 year-old daughter Ava.

We’ve asked Ste to provide us with some insight into his career so far, and his plans for the future…

What did you do before joining inCase?

Ste: “I’ve worked in a wide range of organisations from collecting glasses in a social club to working on a skip yard! I’ve also spent time working for government organisations such as HMRC and the Ministry of Justice. Prior to joining inCase I spent 3 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise managing the client portal and contracts for global accounts.”

What was the proudest moment in your career?

Ste: “I’m proud to have played a part in the 5 prestigious awards we have won in my time with inCase. Being promoted to Client Service Director in March this year was also a very proud moment for me…hard work does pay off!”

What would you like to achieve with inCase?

Ste: “We have already grown substantially since I started with inCase, but this is just the tip of our Iceberg. Our vision is to be ‘The World’s Best Communication Experience for Business’ and I believe we have the right people, with the right attitudes to achieve this.

Could you please tell us a fact about yourself that isn’t widely known?

Ste: “In my younger days I had my shoes and socks stolen on a night out in Corfu (don’t ask!) and had to walk barefoot for over a mile avoiding broken glass and other ‘hazards’ in order to get back to the hotel!”
